Love in the best company: Kellie & Arron’s Intimate Tuscan Wedding at Montechiaro Estate
When love calls, sometimes it whispers, “Let’s run away to Italy.” That’s exactly what Kellie and Arron did — and not just anywhere in Italy, but to the heart of Tuscany, where history, beauty, and romance are woven into every stone and sunset.
With just a dozen of their closest friends, they chose to say “I do” at the breathtaking Montechiaro estate — an 18th-century villa nestled in a tiny, picturesque village with medieval roots. Tucked away only 10 kilometers from Siena, this hidden gem offered more than just a venue; it offered an experience, a dream, a timeless escape.
A Villa Steeped in Romance
Montechiaro feels like something out of a classic Italian film — the kind that makes you start googling airline prices. Surrounded by 160 hectares of rolling Tuscan hills, including 12 lush hectares of vineyards and over 2,000 ancient olive trees, the estate set the stage for a celebration rooted in natural beauty and authentic Italian charm.
From the villa’s gardens, guests were treated to one of the most enchanting views of Siena’s historic city center — terracotta rooftops glowing gold in the evening light, and bell towers chiming in the distance.
A Celebration as Sweet as the View
As Kellie walked through the grass, her smile lit by the sun light and with her closest friends gathered in an intimate circle, Arron waited beneath a canopy of olive branches, fighting back tears in true Aaron style, because he was feeling so much love and the entire setting felt so perfect.
After a heartfelt ceremony, the group dined al fresco under strands of fairy lights, toasting with local wine grown just meters from where they stood. Fresh pasta, truffle risotto, and endless antipasti made the perfect pairing to a night filled with music, dancing, and spontaneous moments that only happen when you’re surrounded by your favorite people in the world.
A Forever Memory
For Kellie and Arron, it wasn’t about grandeur or guest lists. It was about presence — being fully immersed in each moment, surrounded by beauty, love, and the rolling hills of Tuscany.
Their wedding at Montechiaro wasn’t just a celebration. It was a love letter to each other- that over flowed to their guests, about creating a life filled with adventure, simplicity, and soul.

"Sarah is not only one of the most talented wedding photographers I know, she is personable, funny, and no matter who she meets, she finds a way to make you feel at home."
"Where to start. Sarah is not only a close friend, but a colleague, a confidant and a mentor. I had the fortuitous opportunity to be her classmate at the University of Utah for photography, and I have thanked my lucky stars ever since. Sarah is not only one of the most talented wedding photographers I know, she is personable, funny, and no matter who she meets, she finds a way to make you feel at home. When my husband and I decided to get married, we chose a destination wedding in Siena, Italy and asked only a handful of friends to join us. There was no question as to who I wanted to photograph our special day - Sarah. She not only captured our small wedding beautifully, but she told a story of the weekend with those we call our closest friends (including her and her husband, Chris). It is a no brainer to hire Sarah as your wedding photographer, and I refer her to anyone I know getting married. She is an amazing photographer and friend."
