Allison & Michael | A Summer Wedding at Tracy Aviary Chase Mill
Allison and Michael’s wedding took place at Tracy Aviarys Chase Mill, a beautiful venue located inside Salt Lake City’s Liberty Park. The mill itself—built in 1852—is the oldest standing industrial building in Utah. Once used to process flour, it’s now part of the aviary grounds and has become one of the most unique venues in the city. It’s a place where history, nature, and celebration overlap. With stone walls and heavy timber beams, it doesn’t need dressing up. It just holds space—for gathering, for celebration. You can feel the history in the walls.
The ceremony took place in the grass, under the trees, with friends and family gathered close enough to hear every word. The space felt intimate and natural.
Afterward, guests moved to tables set in the grass—white tablecloths, lavender bouquets, and no tent, just string lights stretching between the trees overhead. The setup was simple and elegant. It felt grounded, relaxed. Dinner was served, but the real magic happened during the toasts. Each one turned into a story—some funny, some sweet, all deeply personal. There was laughter, a few tears, and a real connection between everyone in the space.
As the sun lowered, the music started and the whole venue came alive. No one held back. Everyone danced—really danced.
Allison and Michael’s wedding wasn’t just a party; it was a celebration of community. A reminder of how good it is to gather, to witness love, and to mark the beginning of something meaningful.
Allison and Michael—thank you for letting me be part of this day. Your people, your joy, your story… it all felt right at home at Tracy Aviary Chase Mill.
