Lindsay & Peter’s Park City Destination Wedding
Some places are more than just a backdrop — they also hold memories, stories, and the presence of those we love. For Lindsay and Peter, Park City, Utah, is one of those places. Tucked into the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, it wasn’t just the setting for their destination wedding — it was a deeply personal tribute to the past and a joyful step into the future.
A Wedding with Heart
The couple chose Park City not just for its natural beauty, but because it held the memory of Peter’s late father — a place where his spirit feels alive in the mountains. Each year, the family has gathered here to ski, hike, and make memories. So it was obvious to them that they would dedicate themselves to each other in here, in a place that already held so much love for them.
The Ceremony
With their one year old daughter and their closest family and friends surrounding them, Lindsay and Peter exchanged vows at the Church of Dirt, at Empire Pass in Summit County, Park City. Just beyond were Jupiter Peak and Bald Eagle Mountain, and Deer Valley Resort just next door — the same mountains that so much love was once shared with Peter’s father. The air was chilly and the silence peaceful, and as the sun dipped behind the mountains, it painted the sky in soft shades of pink, gold, and lavender.
So Much Love
The love that surrounded them. It was a symbol of the life they’d already built together and the future they were stepping into as a family. Surrounded by such close loved ones, the ceremony felt sacred and simple. Stories were shared. Many tears were shed.
As twilight settled in, the group gathered for a cozy reception at Twisted Fern in Park City. They dined on local cuisine — hearty, seasonal, and soul-warming — served with plenty of wine and laughter.
For Lindsay and Peter, Park City will always be more than a destination. It’s filled with so many memories and love.
